‘Boomerang Effect’: The Repercussions of Critical Regionalism in 1980s Greece

Stylianos Giamarelos

Dr Stylianos Giamarelos is an architect, historian and theorist of postmodern culture. He is a Senior Lecturer in Architectural History & Theory at the Bartlett School of Architecture UCL, and the Executive Editor of The Journal of Architecture. Among others, he has published in The Journal of Architecture, Journal of Architectural Education, Architectural Design, Architectural Histories, Footprint, OASE, FRAME, San Rocco, and Metalocus. In 2018, his article on the cross-cultural authorship of critical regionalism was a finalist runner-up for the biannual EAHN Publication Award.
