Dr Stylianos Giamarelos is an architect, historian and theorist of postmodern culture. He is a Senior Lecturer in Architectural History & Theory at the Bartlett School of Architecture UCL, and the Executive Editor of The Journal of Architecture. Among others, he has published in The Journal of Architecture, Journal of Architectural Education, Architectural Design, Architectural Histories, Footprint, OASE, FRAME, San Rocco, and Metalocus. In 2018, his article on the cross-cultural authorship of critical regionalism was a finalist runner-up for the biannual EAHN Publication Award. He is currently writing a book that further explores the cross-cultural roots of critical regionalism before globalisation. Author affiliation details are correct at time of print publication.
