Paul Hensey

Paul Hensey is a practising garden and landscape designer. He has been a registered member of the Society of Garden Designers since 2007 and was made a Fellow in early 2016. Originally trained as an industrial designer, Paul has used CAD systems for over 20 years. Early in his career he was the head of design for an international construction products manufacturer, giving him an invaluable insight into construction detailing and an appetite for understanding manufacturing techniques and the use of novel materials in gardens and landscapes. Paul has been the technical journalist for the Garden Design Journal since 2009 and writes their monthly feature on best practice and construction. A lecturer at the University of Portsmouth, Paul also teaches at several other colleges on garden design and CAD.
