Jeffrey P. Turko [AA Dipl. RIBA II] is the founder of the design practice NEKTON. He is currently Vice Chairman of the OCEAN Design Research Association and has collaborated on projects such as Landsc[r]aper – Urban Ring Bridge, the World Centre for Human Concerns and most recently the MM tent (aka Membrella). He studied and taught at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London. He currently teaches architecture at the postgraduate diploma level at the University of East London School of Architecture and Visual Arts where he has been a senior lecturer since 2001. He has published his work and writings in numerous international architecture journals. He has been practising since 1999 and has been a registered architect in The Netherlands since 2001.
