Brian Edwards is Emeritus Professor of Architecture at ECA, part of Edinburgh University, and was Associate Professor of Sustainable Architecture at the Royal Danish Academy of Architecture, Design and Conservation from 2008 to 2011. An architect by training, he has worked for various architectural practices in the UK and Canada, including RMJM. His Ph.D. is from the Mackintosh School of Architecture and he has an MSc in Environmental Conservation from Heriot-Watt University. Professor Edwards is the author of twenty books and many journal articles on topics from building types, urbanism and sustainable design. Emanuele Naboni is Associate Professor of Architecture at the Royal Danish Academy of Architecture, Design and Conservation specializing in sustainable design and the theory and practice of environmental modelling. He trained as an architect at Milan Polytechnic where he obtained his Ph.D. He has been a researcher at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and worked for a time on green projects in SOM’s office in San Francisco.
