James Godsil is cofounder of Sweet Water Organics and the Sweet Water Foundation. He is now the president of the Sweet Water Foundation (SWF) and Community Roofing & Restoration (CRR) and is a past president of ESHAC Inc. He is also the co-founder of Milwaukee Preservation Alliance, Milwaukee-Renaissance.com and the Indo American Aquaponics Institute (IAAI), a global coalition of development professionals and experts in their own fields of work. Between 2005 and 2010, James served on the Growing Power board. He was Milwaukee Entrepreneur of the Year 2010 and Mandi Award Navigator Finalist in 2013. In 2011, he took part in the State Department American Speakers Program in India. For his work in the Bonobo Congo Biodiversity Initiative, he received the Milwaukee Zoological Society Award in 2008.
