Magda Sibley is a senior lecturer in architecture at the University of Liverpool. She has studied the urban form and architecture of world heritage Islamic cities in North Africa and the Middle East with the aim of informing new design projects. She has co-edited Courtyard Housing: Past, Present and Future published in 2006 by Taylor & Francis and participated in the European HAMMAM project.
